The Postpartum Revolution Speaks More Languages Than Ever Before!

Dear Reader,

There are moments when you can feel a movement growing.

This is one of them.

At the Postnatal Support Network, we have always believed that every family—regardless of language, culture or country—deserves compassionate, evidence-based postpartum support. Today, we are thrilled to announce that our training community is expanding in ways we've dreamed about for years.

A PSN First: Our First-Ever Spanish & Japanese Postpartum Doula Trainings!

This year marks a historic milestone for our network.

🇯🇵 For the very first time ever, our Postpartum Doula Training in Japanese will begin, taught by senior trainer Satya Kaur and led by our wonderful certified doula and mentor Ikumi Fritz. After bringing our Postpartum Plan to Japanese families, Ikumi is now helping grow an entirely new community of postpartum doulas in Japan.

🇪🇸 And, for the very first time, we are launching our Postpartum Doula Training in Spanish, opening the door for doulas and birth workers across Spain, Latin America, and Spanish-speaking communities worldwide. Taught by Milagros Vilasoro, an Argentinian birth and postpartum doula, prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher, and massage therapist based in Lisbon.

Seeing our work take root in new languages is deeply moving. It reminds us that postpartum care truly is a universal need.

Why Train With PSN?

Our training is much more than a certification.

It is an invitation to become part of an international movement dedicated to transforming the postpartum experience.

Together we explore:

  • The physiology and psychology of the postpartum period
  • Trauma-informed postpartum care
  • Breastfeeding and newborn support
  • Traditional postpartum practices from around the world
  • Practical skills including massage, belly binding, rituals, and nutrition
  • Advocacy for better postpartum care
  • Building a sustainable, heart-centred doula practice

You'll join an inspiring international community of doulas, midwives, therapists, nurses, yoga teachers, researchers and parents who share one vision: that no family should navigate the postpartum period alone.

Join the Revolution

Every new language means more families supported.
Every new doula means more mothers held.
Every training brings us one step closer to changing postpartum care worldwide.

We would be honoured to welcome you into our growing global community.

Dear PSN Community, We are standing at the threshold of Spring. Today marks the spring equinox: that rare, fleeting moment where light and darkness meet in perfect shadow and flame. It is a point of balance. A passage. In ancient mythology, this is the time of Inanna’s return. After her descent, after the stripping away of her layers, after traversing everything that could no longer remain... she rises. She returns changed. More true. More whole. Perhaps you, too, have traversed your own...

Dear Reader, Have you ever felt like society abandons women right after birth? Have you heard testimonies from mothers where postpartum "shattered them into pieces"? The fourth trimester is often neglected, even though its importance is central. But there is a way to change this narrative. Not just for others, but also for your own journey. Today, we want to share the stories of two women who were exactly where you are right now. They felt the "call," but they needed the bridge to turn that...

Dear Reader, Society prepares women for the birth, but it often abandons them right after. While the world focuses on the nursery and the baby clothes, the new mother is often left in a black hole of care. She is expected to be resilient, and to manage it all alone. But at the Postnatal Support Network, we know that the 40 days following childbirth are the most critical for a woman’s lifelong health. The truth is: Mothers need mothering, too. We are looking for compassionate leaders to help...
